Woven with Passion

Wyplatamy was created by Aga and Maciek – a couple who love spending time creatively and turning passion into something more. We started our handcraft journey in 2020 with finger weaving. Today our shop offers not only yarns, but also products that let you spend time creatively and create your own projects.

We are pioneers of finger weaving with chunky yarn in Poland and have been developing and popularising this method for years. Since 2021 we have been running workshops, during which we have already trained over 500 people – many of them fell in love with weaving just like we did.

My personal story started innocently. In 2020, looking for a way to escape everyday life, I came across a video of finger weaving with chunky yarn. I tried it… and was hooked. It turned out to be not only simple, but also incredibly satisfying.

I started weaving – first for myself, then for friends. Seeing how much this technique delighted others, I decided to take it a step further. That's how Wyplatamy was born. I take care of creating and teaching weaving, while Maciek supports the business side – together we combine passion with business.

I always liked handcrafts, but lost interest quickly. Knitting needles? Too slow. Crochet? It takes too long to see results. That's exactly why I fell in love with finger weaving – because here the result is immediate. After just a few minutes you can make your first stitches, and after a few hours you have a finished project.

This is a hobby for everyone who wants to create but doesn't have weeks to learn or endless patience for a single project. Simple, relaxing and incredibly rewarding.
