These are two completely different tactile experiences. Chenille finger-knitting yarn is fluffy, has a velvety "fur-like" texture, and is incredibly soft – perfect for classic, cosy blankets. Tube finger-knitting yarn is a smooth, knitted tube with filling. It doesn't shed or pill, and gives a modern, "clean" chunky-stitch effect that holds its shape beautifully.
The amount depends on the type of material:
- Chenille yarn (230g): approx. 7–8 skeins.
- Chenille Ombre yarn (600g): approx. 3 skeins.
- Tube yarn 5 cm: approx. 3–4 kg of material.
Quite the opposite! Loop yarns are considered the easiest material to start with. They come with factory-formed loops that you simply pull one through another. You don't need to worry about loop size – the yarn does it for you, guaranteeing a perfectly even stitch.
The Premium series features increased fibre density. It is more "substantial" and compact than the Standard version, which translates to better thermal insulation and a luxurious appearance with no gaps. The Select series, in turn, offers a unique and often limited colour palette curated in line with the latest interior design trends.
Yes, most of our polyester and tube yarns are suitable for machine washing. The key is a low temperature (30°C), a gentle cycle, and the use of a laundry bag to protect the stitch from snagging. Important: items made from these yarns must be dried flat only, so they don't lose their shape under the weight of water.
No. Tube finger-knitting yarn (both 2 cm and 5 cm) consists of a smooth tube with filling, so shedding or fibre loss simply does not occur. It is the best choice for allergy sufferers and pet owners, as animal hair can be easily removed from the smooth tube surface.
Exactly! The entire category was designed with hand knitting technique in mind. However, if you prefer to work with tools, for Chenille and Tube 2 cm yarns we recommend needles or crochet hooks in size 25 mm. With Tube 5 cm, tools are generally unnecessary – the loops are so large that working with your hands is the most comfortable method.
