Ingredients needed
There are some pieces that don’t shout for attention, yet still draw the eye… This blanket is one of them.
Made using the finger knitting technique – without crochet hooks or knitting needles – it stands out with its simplicity and softness. It’s a perfect example that you don’t need complicated techniques to create something truly special.
The base of the project is yarn in color no. 19 (4 skeins), which gives the blanket a light, creamy tone. It’s a timeless color – it brightens the space, brings a sense of calm, and pairs beautifully with almost any interior style.
The whole piece is enhanced with subtle stripes in colors no. 9, 10, and 35, adding lightness and character without disturbing the harmony of the design. It’s this detail that makes the blanket more distinctive, while still keeping it elegant and versatile.
In total, only 5 skeins of chenille yarn were used to make this blanket, which makes it a great project even for beginners.
It’s the perfect blanket for quiet evenings – with a book, a cup of tea, and a moment just for yourself. It looks beautiful on a sofa or bed, adding warmth and style to your space.
