Preparation method
Ingredients needed
Imagine a quiet afternoon, a soft sofa and a blanket you never want to leave… This project is exactly that feeling.
The blanket was made using the finger weaving method – no crochet hook or knitting needles needed. It shows how easily you can create something both stunning and incredibly cosy.
The base is yarn in colour no. 9 (4 skeins), which gives a beautiful, fresh mint shade. It's a colour that brightens up any interior and adds a sense of lightness, while pairing beautifully with beiges and natural accents – just as you can see in this arrangement.
The strips made from yarns no. 19, 35 and 30 add a unique character. They subtly break up the mint base and give the blanket a more designer feel rather than an ordinary one.
The blanket measures 80 × 150 cm and was made using just 5 skeins of yarn, making it a perfect project for a single evening.
This is not just a blanket. It's an element that sets the mood in your home – on the sofa, in the bedroom or in your relaxation corner.
If you're not sure how to make this blanket yourself – check out the tutorial on the blog. And if you'd like someone to guide you step by step, I invite you to join my original course "Woven with Passion".
If you're looking for inspiration for your first project or want to create something that truly catches the eye – this is exactly the direction to go.
